One day, within the massive jungles in a far off land, a girl made the life-changing decision to be one with nature. She had brown hair, her bangs hanging off of either side, a ball of brown hair on the back, spiked towards the skies above. Deep, blue eyes that sparkled like pristine gems, and fair skin that looked smooth, soft to the touch. She wore nothing more than a leaf bra, and a grass skirt for clothing. This provided her with the movement needed to survive in this treacherous enviornment. This girl's name, was no other than the fifteen year old, Sapphire. Alongside her was her companion, a bright orange chick with the ability to spew out flames. This was no other than the fire-type, Torchic. They lived together in harmony, protecting each other from harm when necessary.

Now, today, Sapphire had been resting on a branch of a large tree she called "home." Her eyes were shut, but she was not asleep. Over the five years of living in this jungle, one thing managed to keep her alive throughout the struggles she first encountered. You are never too safe from danger. Even the most secluded place is bound to have something watching her. The single poke of a Weedle's stinger could be the thing that kills her, or even the inhaling of a Vileplume's toxins could be lethal. She always had to be on her guard, for if she were to perish, that would leave the Torchic on his own. The very thought made her shake in fear. For that, she slept during the night, and never rested in the day. Sapphire was determined to keep her and Torchic alive, along with anyone that happens to wander into her territory. Today would be a day she would never forget...

Sapphire felt the warmth of the Torchic on her chest, penetrating her leaf bra. It felt soothing as his tiny chest slowly rose up and down, indicating he was asleep. The Torchic let off a small chirp in his sleep, his talon twitching as he dreamed. She let off a light giggle at how adorable he looked asleep. Even though they had been together for five years, it was made her heart feel fuzzy as she watched Torchic. It was almost like a mother/child bond a parent develops. After all these years here in the jungle, she never regretted her decision all those years ago. In fact, she didn't care for the world outside this jungle. To her, it was too tainted by the image of humans, something she despised all her life. What she did care for, however, was her family's well-being (who wouldn't care about their family?). The only times she had ever left for more than a day was when she took her annual visit to her family back home, in Littleroot. She depended on a Swampert (who she tamed herself) to get her back to Littleroot. It was hard to stay with the family, for she longed to be back in the wilds. The jungle was her true home, not a quaint house that made her wheeze every time she took a breath. Sapphire had always thought that she was the only person that lived in this jungle. Little did she know that somewhere in this vast jungle, another girl had made the decision she had made...

"Alright Kibago!", a young girl exclaimed with excitement. She had dark skin, which only made her outfit look much more appealing on her. Her amber eyes had a spark of interest as she looked over her leaf bra, and grass skirt. They felt very comfortable, as they didn't impeded on her movement. To her, it was a giant improvement over the stuffy outfit she wore back home. The girl's purple hair ran down to her ankles, something which she absolutely adored. Usually, she had her hair tied in several knots, two on either side of the top of her head, and one down by her shins. But when she made this decision, she didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb, so she disposed of the knots. She enjoyed how her hair looked without them. It was as if it was a symbol of her freedom from the urban world. From within the hair, something seemed to poke it's head out. It had deep, ruby red eyes, and a dark, green body. His head had two large horns jutting out to the sides from the nostrils. It had a large, curved green horn on the back of his head, positioned upwards several inches. This was no other than a Kibago, a Dragon-Type who was her  companion. "Ready to start a new life?", the girl asked the pokemon in a confident manner, eager to get this started. The dragon-type smiled, before letting off a confident, "Ki-Ki-Kibago!" The girl smiled at his response, hearing it full of enthusiasm was music to her ears, "Yep! Iris the jungle girl!" She made a light giggle at the thought, finding it fitting for one such as herself. "Sounds good, right?", she asked her companion, glancing at him with a wide grin on her face. The pokemon smiled, before agreeing with her with a light-hearted, "Kibago!" Iris let off a small laugh, giving him a small pat on his head, "Thanks. Now then, let's start this!" The Kibago cheered Iris as he felt the air rush past them, the ends of her hair flowing through the light breeze. The girl made a leap through the air, grabbing the end of a vine. With ease, she swung on it, enjoying the feel of being free from society. 'This life will be so much better!', she thought to herself in confidence, starting to climb up the vine. She knew that the jungle wasn't a place to be toyed around with. What she didn't know was that life in the jungle wouldn't be as laid-back as she though it was.

Before long, Sapphire let off a small yawn, being awake for quite some time now. She stretched her arms and legs as her body started to come out of it's relaxed state. She was about to wake Torchic up when she heard her stomach growl. She made an embarrassed look on her face as she realized something. The jungle girl needed to gather berries for food. Unfortunately, the tree she lived in was incapable of growing berries, due to it's age. This meant she would have to make the trek across the jungle terrain to find some berries. They were delicious, yet there were so many pokemon who desired the berries. Without those, she wouldn't be able to survive in the hot, humid jungle. It was already treacherous enough with the berries. "Torchic," she said in almost a whisper, shaking the bird slightly to wake him up. "Wake up sleepy-head," she told the bird, a small smile spreading across her face. The fire-type let off an adorable yawn, stretching his talons and wings as he came out of sleeping. "Tor...chic...", he said in a tired manner. His eyes were half-open as he looked at Sapphire in a bored-like manner. "Come on," Sapphire said in a calm voice, placing the Torchic next to her. "We have to go collect some berries," she said to him quietly, being considerate of his state. The Torchic silently nodded, before looking down from the branch. It was always too high for him to jump down. If he did, he would end up as a bloody mess against the jungle floor. He depended on Sapphire to get him down safely, just as she depended on him when the situation allows. Sapphire lifted up the bird into her arms, making sure he felt comfortable. With no hesitation, she grabbed the vine that hung down to the right of her branch. She silently hoisted herself onto the vine, before slowly lowering herself down.

"Kibago, Kibago-Ki?", the dragon-type asked the girl, wondering where they were going to sleep, eat, or even take baths. This new life-style raised so many questions, yet it was so thrilling to be out here, with nature as their companion. Iris let out a small laugh, telling the tiny pokemon in a confident manner, "We'll find out, won't we?" The dragon-type acknowledged his master's kind words, hoping nothing terrible would befall the two. It scared him to think of them getting into a fight with a powerful pokemon, or worse. Iris leaped from the vine, landing softly onto a branch. She never knew this place would be filled with so much life, so much sights and sounds. This life was so much better than the one she left back in Unova. "Man, this is paradise!", Iris exclaimed with glee. Little did Iris know that she would have her first encounter with pokemon in their truly feral state.

Above the former gym-leader was a wicked serpent, his black scales hidden within the shadows of the leaves. Along the black coils were large, yellow spots, evenly distributed along his body. This was perfect, it had been a while since he saw a human. One that seemed inexperienced in this life-style. Not only that, it was a female! And a child no less! His sinister grin spread even further. The last human he had in his coils was that succulent looking Sapphire. But that was four years ago, that was something he tried his best to forget. But how could he forget how that Torchic of hers scorched him? It made his blood boil at the memories. Nonetheless, he licked his lips hungrily at the sight of this one. The only problem was that Kibago of hers. Perhaps, if he was lucky, they were planning on taking a break here. His bladed tail silently struck the bark of the tree. He retracted it from the bark, feeling a gooey sap drip from it. He glanced at the bark, seeing a white sap ooze out of the cut. He made a sinister smile as he licked his two, large teeth, colored in a deep red. If this went well, there would be a large bulge inside his stomach, appeasing his hunger for two, maybe even three weeks. He couldn't resist getting such a prize, but something as succulent as her required patience to hunt. He silently slithered directly above Iris, observing her perfect body. Once he saw how flawless it was, it only made him all the more hungrier. He could tell this was gonna be delicious.

Sapphire touched the bark of a tree, as if stroking it gently. "No...This isn't it," she muttered to herself as she looked up into the tree, not seeing any color other than the rich green of the leaves. The Torchic had already woken up, but he didn't bother to jump out of the caring embrace he was in. It was too soothing, and comforting knowing that somebody was here to take care of him. "Well, it looks like we'll have to walk some more," the jungle girl said, starting to walk down the clear path ahead of her. By the looks of it, there weren't any berries near her 'home.' This only caused her some worry, as the berries had to be deeper into the jungle. "Great," she said to herself, leaping over a root in her way. The Torchic let out a small chirp, as if concerned about something. Sapphire nodded, telling it, "Yeah. Be prepared." She walked along the path, looking about for any berries, or predators. It was a scary thought, going deeper than they usually do. She had no idea what laid within the deepest sections of the jungle, despite her five years living here. She was prepared for anything, except one thing...

"Ki-Kibago," the dragon-type said to it's master, jumping out of her purple hair. He landed on the branch with a soft thud, landing on his feet perfectly. Iris clapped, a smile spreading across her face, "A definite ten out of ten!" The dragon-type smiled, and took a small bow. He loved how Iris adored his cute actions, along with how she treated him like her own child. With a small sigh of happiness, Iris sat back against the tree, hugging her knees up to her chest. She looked about for a few moments, seeing this tree as their best friend. "Kibago, we'll sleep here," she told him in a calm voice, unaware if the serious threat above her. The Kibago smiled at the suggestion. It seemed like the ideal place to sleep, away from all the predators. He was sadly mistaken, as a Seviper above them called this tree his home, and he wasn't about to let some girl proclaim it as her own. Iris let off a cute yawn, shutting her eyes. It had been a long day, first there was the matter of getting here, then changing into the plant outfit. Along with that berry bath she took on her way here (which she does to keep her skin soft and healthy). 'Wow, I'm more tired than I thought,' she thought to herself, tapping her hand on the bark to catch Kibago's attention. The dragon-type knew what that meant. A smile grew on his face as he ran towards Iris, leaping onto her knees. Iris giggled, hugging the Kibago close to her chest. The small pokemon let out a growl of appreciation, for he truly loved Iris as a master. Iris let out a small giggle, stroking his hide gently. Kibago let out a yawn, before he shifted in place for a few moments, getting into a comfortable position. Iris watched in amusement as her dragon-type fell asleep in the embrace, a calm look on his face. "Have a good sleep, Kibago," Iris said, yawning quite a bit herself. Just looking at the sleeping pokemon made her body feel heavy. Her eyes shut as her breathing calmed, her head resting on Kibago. The long, purple hair hung down from Iris' head, providing a nice shade for her dragon-type. Little did she know that this was a terrible mistake...

The Seviper smacked his lips eagerly at the possibilities of what she tasted like. With no hesitation, he coiled himself several times around the branch, making sure he was anchored to the branch. He silently lowered himself down onto Iris' branch, making no sound to indicate danger. The Seviper uncoiled himself, making sure no noise was made as his body landed on the branch. He slithered over to her, a devious smile fixed upon his face. This girl already looked adorable from this angle, but he wanted to get a better look at what she looked like face-to-face. He brushed her hair slightly out of her face with the tip of his bladed tail. He observed her for a few moments, before he came to this conclusion. She looked adorable, especially when she was asleep. This only made the serpent smack his lips hungrily, for such a beautiful girl surely belonged inside his stomach. He was about to wrap her up inside his cold, scaly coils, until he realized that Kibago was resting in her embrace. This was troublesome, as if he tried to devour her with him around, Kibago would be sure to stop her from becoming his meal. This was something he couldn't allow. He desperately wanted the girl inside of him, for a human female was considered a delicacy to pokemon (along with the fact that he hasn't had anything to eat the last couple of days). He silently took the tip of his blade, and lowered it underneath the Kibago. With slow, precise movements, the Seviper lifted Kibago up, and slowly moved him out of Iris's reach. He placed him on the end of the branch, seeing that he was still asleep, blissfully unaware of the danger his trainer was faced with. A smirk appeared on the Seviper's face at the fact that Iris was completely defenseless. Now, all that was left was to wrap up this girl, then devour her before Kibago gets a chance. He slowly wrapped Iris around her waist, before brushing her arms to her sides. If he had her arms free, that would mean some difficulties in moving in to devour the succulent looking girl. He loosened up his coils, getting her wrists to hang down in between her waist, and his coils. He retightened them again, smiling deviously as he continued wrapping up the sleeping Iris.

Sapphire had been walking around for quite a while, and still no sign of any berries. She glanced about nervously, jumping at any shadow that seemed to move. "Torch-Tor-Torchic," the fire-type said nervously, just as scared as his master. "Y-Yeah, I know what you mean," the girl said to the Torchic, trying to calm it down. She had no clue about Iris's existence, but that was about to change in a few moments.

Above the two, the wicked Seviper had coiled Iris up to her chest, enjoying every second of having a human inside his coils. It had been a long time since he felt this warmth inside his coils, along with the sensation of his scales gliding across her smooth skin. He also smacked his lips at the memory of the taste that lingered on his tounge all those years ago. He remembered the expression on his first female he had in his coils. Fear, shock, and horror...Oh how he loved those expressions. They made him all the more eager to have the victim inside his stomach, smoldering inside his acidic juices. This one especially looked appealing to his lustful eyes. He couldn't take it anymore. He needed a taste to feed his curiosity. The serpent's forked tongue poked out of his mouth. He leaned forward, flicking his tongue across the girl's face. His saliva dripped down her cheeks and forehead, the taste...wonderful. Just what he expected out of this girl. Although, there was a presence of a strong taste. He just couldn't think of what it could possibly be.

It was at this moment that Iris winced at the feel of the drool dripping down her face. It seemed unusual feeling something lick her face in her sleep. Her first guess was Kibago, but she soon would find it otherwise. Iris slowly opened them, awakening from her peaceful slumber. "Uh...Wha?", she muttered out, her vision adjusting to the bright light. Her amber eyes widened in horror to see black coils surrounding most of her body. 'W-What the?!', she wondered in shock, slowly raising her head to see this new threat. The dark-skinned jungle girl made a gasp as she took in the sight. The Seviper seemed to grin wickedly at her plight, enjoying the face she made. "Ugh! Let me go!", she grunted out, shifting inside the tight, heavy coils. She took in quick breaths as she tried her best to get out of the Seviper's coils. The serpent made a low, sinister hiss as he tightened the coils around her, enjoying the feel of her struggling against them. He needed to make sure she wouldn't have the breath to speak. With a swift motion, he coiled his last portion of the tail around her mouth, his blade positioned so that the sharp end was pressing against her neck. Iris's eyes widened, trying to think of a way out of this situation. Her mind raced through several ideas, desperate to find a way out of this danger. Once she tried to think of everything she could possibly do, a wave of fear went through her. This was it...There was no way out of this. With that realization stuck in her mind, Iris shut her eyes tight, tears welling up. She couldn't die here, she just couldn't. If she did, then that truly defeated her purpose here. Kibago would be left alone, in the vast jungle, lost. She shuddered at the sudden images of seeing Kibago mutilated, devoured by snakes, or choke on poisonous gas from a Vileplume. She didn't realize all the dangers she took, and for that, she was going to pay dearly...

Sapphire stopped in her tracks, a silence falling on her and Torchic. Was it her imagination, or did she just hear another voice? She glanced down at Torchic, who seemed to be looking around in an alert manner. "Torchic...", Sapphire said in a quiet voice, wondering just who else could be in his jungle besides her and Torchic? The fire-type made a small chirp, as if realizing where the voice came from. With no hesitation, the bird jumped out of the girl's arms, landing in the ground directly in his feet. "Tor-To-Torchic!", it exclaimed, running towards a nearby tree. Sapphire eagerly ran after her pokemon, wondering if it found the answer to their question. Almost immediately, the Torchic stopped at the trunk, looking up into the tree's leaves. From here, he could make out the silhouette of a girl and...oh dear. This wasn't going to turn out well.

Iris made muffled sobs as she realized her blunder. There were so many things that could happen to her in this treacherous place. Iris merely brushed aside all of the dangers, thinking that the jungle would be a life of ease. She was sadly mistaken. She didn't want to die here, she had a full life ahead of her. The Seviper made a malevolent hiss, loving the look on Iris's face. He especially loved how her adorable face was soaked in tears. The very sight made him feel a sense of accomplishment. The girl looked so delicious inside his coils. Soon, however, he couldn't take it any longer. Her taste was overpowering his taste-buds, her scent filled his nostrils, the sight, made him grin. This almost caused him to go mad, for his patience was being tried. Iris opened her amber eyes, just in time to see the Seviper unhinging his jaws, ready to take her into his maw. She let out a muffled scream, trying her best to slide out of the tight vice. She shook her head once as she shut her eyes tight, feeling the hot breath on her forehead. Before long, Iris felt something slimy start to cover the crown of her head. Her hair started to plaster against her forehead, the snake saliva starting to dampen her long, purple hair. In her mind, Iris was nearly screaming for help. Too bad no one could hear her, or so she thought...

The Torchic made a loud, chirping noise, trying to jump up the tree. It appeared as if he was trying to climb it. Sapphire got the message, and ran towards wheee the Torchic was. "What is it?", she asked the bird in a rushed manner, looking up to where he was staring at. Something seemed to be happening up there, but she couldn't quite make out what he was getting so upset about. 'What is he...', Sapphire thought in confusion, looking towards the end of the branch. That was the moment when she saw....What was it? It seemed foreign in appearance, almost out of this world.  It was something she had never seen before in her life, but if this was somebody's pokemon... "Hey!", she called out to the unfamiliar creature. Fortunately, it slowly opened its eyes, yawning as he rubbed it.

Kibago couldn't believe his ears. Did he just hear another human, other than Iris? "Kibago?", it asked curiously, lazily looking down at the ground. Sure enough, standing there before him was another girl. She looked older than his master, Iris, yet she wore a similar outfit. If it wasn't for her body, he would've thought Iris was transformed somehow. Speaking if which...Where is Iris? The last thing Kibago remembered before he fell asleep was shutting his eyes in his trainer's embrace. He looked about for a few moments wondering where she was, before his eyes widened in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing! A Seviper had been devouring his master! He sat there, frozen in shock as he took in the sight. Iris squirmed inside his coils, her head already stuffed down his throat. He looked at the tight, scaly skin below his head, seeing a terrified expression imprinted. "Kibago!", it cried out, getting up to his feet. He needed to stop that serpent from devouring Iris! With no hesitation, he ran towards the Seviper, a furious expression on his face. Kibago was ready to do anything to get Iris out of there!

The Seviper made a cold stare at Kibago, trying his best to make a smirk with Iris inside his mouth. By the looks of it, this pokemon was much weaker than himself. He could easily smite this pokemon in a single blow. He watched as the Kibago try to punch him, leaping up through the air. "Kibago!", it cried out, trying to get a good swipe at the serpent. With almost no hesitation, the bladed tail swung at the Dragon-type, striking him right in the chest. Kibago let out a cry of pain as he was struck off course, falling from the branch. He couldn't believe that Seviper beat him. With a single slice, Kibago lost to the victorious serpent. He shut his eyes, wanting so much to see Iris again. He couldn't stand the thought of her falling victim to a Seviper. He made a cry as he fell, losing all hope in the world.

Sapphire let out a gasp of shock as she saw the Kibago fall out of the branch. She couldn't let him just fall, not after his attempt to save someone. She ran up to where he would've landed, and caught him in her arms. "Gotcha!", she exclaimed, letting off a small sigh of relief. At least that was one thing done right. But, if he belonged to someone who he was loyal to, then that meant something was happening in the branches above. Not only that, but the wound he had showed what kind of creature was in the branches above. "Torchic!", she shouted out, a hint of fear in her voice. The fire-bird looked at Sapphire with curious eyes. Did she fine out what was going on? "Torchic?", it asked Sapphire, cocking his head to the right. Sapphire had a determined look on her face as she set the Kibago down on the jungle floor. "Look after him," she said to Torhic, looking up into the leaves above. Whoever it was, no one was going to perish in her territory. With a swift motion, she leaped onto the vine, starting to clamber up it at a rapid pace.

The Seviper had reached well below Iris's stomach. The taste was amazing, yet there was that presence. She squirmed about inside of him, panting heavily as she felt the air get tighter, and unbreathable. It was very uncomfortable being squeezed down the tight throat by force. By now, all of her purple hair was soaked from the sticky snake saliva. Her grass skirt and bare legs were all that remained of Iris outside of the Seviper's gullet, trying to kick their way out. He was just about to raise his head to allow gravity to aid her down to his acidic gut, but then he heard a light thud on the branch. His deep blood-red eyes glared at the intruder, widening at who it was. It was her "Well, what do we have here?", Sapphire asked, seeing the girl's legs sticking out of the Seviper's maw. She was indeed shocked to see such a sight, but she had to keep her calm in this situation. Sapphire couldn't allow the Seviper to take advantage of that weakness. The serpent was conflicted, for this girl tasted delicious, yet he always wanted a chance to get revenge on Sapphire. After a few moments, he decided to do both. In defiance of her entrance, he raised his head quickly to a ninety-degree angle. Sapphire watched in shock as the girl's legs quickly disappeared into the Seviper's mouth, almost instantly. He clamped his jaws over them, licking his mouth in delight. That girl  tasted delicious, but it didn't satisfy him. What he wanted was sweet revenge on the girl who escaped him those five years ago. That was his primary goal at this point.

"You...You jerk!", Sapphire shouted out, clenching her fists in anger. She couldn't believe she had just watched someone get devoured by this...monster. Her eyes showed fury towards he Seviper, a hatred that grew with every second of his presence. Sapphire needed to rescue whoever it was. Even if she didn't know the girl, no one should die in her jungle. The serpent hissed, as if taunting Sapphire. The girl let out a wild shriek, running towards the Seviper with rage. The black serpent moved out of her way, a smirk spreading across his face at how easy it was to agrivate her. He took a look back at Sapphire, only to see a leg swinging at him with full force. The shin made impact with his face, sending him slamming into the tree on the side. The pain was excrutiating, as he couldn't quite focus on fighting Sapphire. It was that girl he had just devoured. She was the one slowing him down, the one bogging him down in this fight with his rival. He couldn't stand he thought of going another week with an empty stomach, but it had to be done. "What's wrong?", Sapphire taunted the Seviper, noticing how strange he acted at the moment. It seemed unusual for him to act so odd in a fight against her. The serpent faced Sapphire, before some strange motions occurred. He felt his body seem to burn, particularly around his mouth. His head jerked slightly, but unlike what he thought, this was completely involuntary. For some reason, his body found something repulsive about that girl. He made a heaving sound, starting to cough some saliva onto the branch. Sapphire took a few steps back, a face of confusion skewn on her face, 'What's going on?!'  The Seviper made a heaving sound again, but this time, the feminine bulge rapidly moved up his body. The Seviper's blood-red eyes quivered, before he released the contents of his stomach onto the branch. Most of it was mainly saliva, and a few orange spots, but in the middle of the mess was a soaked dark-skinned girl, who's purple hair, and plant clothing were soaked, and plastered to parts of her body. Fortunately, she didn't pass out from lack of air, but she did look exhausted from the ordeal. The Seviper looked at the girl, then Sapphire. He violently shuddered, feeling the burn get much more intense. He had no idea what was going on. Why was he able to devour humans before, yet now he couldn't even manage to keep one in for more than two minutes? It was absurd, but there was something different about her from the rest of them. That was the moment when the Seviper realized what was wrong. The taste from earlier, the one he couldn't describe. It was berry, the only things he was allergic to. With no hesitation, he fled the area, wanting to get away from Iris as soon as possible.

Sapphire looked down at the girl, just wondering what in god's name was she doing?! Sapphire crouched down, placing a hand on a slimy shoulder, shaking her slightly, "Hey...Wake up." She wanted to make sure that the girl wasn't dead at all. Iris winced a bit, before she slowly opened her amber eyes. She looked at the jungle girl, making a small smile, "It looks like I'm not the only one." Sapphire was surprised she had the strength to talk after what had just happened to her. But, she smiled and nodded, "Yeah..." Iris made a small laugh, her voice sounding weak, "Is...Is Kibago alright?" Sapphire nodded, assuming that that unusual looking pokemon was Kibago. Iris let out a sigh of relief, "Thank Arceus." She couldn't believe what had just happened. She got devoured a Seviper, yet somehow he regurgitated. Sapphire didn't even know this girl's name, let alone her purpose here. "My name is Sapphire," the fair-skinned one said. Iris laid there for a few moments, before saying, "Iris." Sapphire saw Iris shake her head slightly, a small smile forming on her face. She appeared to be finding something humorous. "What's so funny?", Sapphire asked the dark-skinned girl curiously. Iris looked up at Sapphire, and said in a cheerful tone, "I think my berry bath had something to do with my being saved." Sapphire scrunched her face up, inquiring, "What do you mean?" Iris let out a small sigh, "I took a berry bath before I changed into his outfit. You know, to become one with nature." Sapphire let off a light laugh, knowing how Seviper usually found berries putrid. "I see," she said in a light-hearted voice, a small chuckle coming from her mouth. Iris joined in with her, almost in disbelief to find someone with he same views as her on nature. "Come on," Sapphire said, raising Iris into a seated position. "I still have to find some berries," Sapphire told Iris in a stern tone, wanting to get this done. Iris let off a small giggle, pointing up into the branches above, "Look there!" Sapphire looked up, and sure enough, there they were. A multitude of colors above them. Blue, yellow, red, violet, it was all there. Sapphire couldn't believe her eyes. If they were able to pick all of these at once, they would surely last for at least several months. "Iris! It's amazing!", Sapphire exclaimed, exhilarated at the sight. Iris let off a small laugh, "I know!" With no hesitation, Sapphire clambered into the branches above, picking as much berries as she could. Iris couldn't wait to see what more Sapphire had in store for her.

~Several hours later~

"Alright. So I can sleep with you?", Iris inquired, letting her Kibago rest next to her. He had been bandaged up with berry-stained leaves, being Oran berries. He felt so relieved to have his master alright, and smell just as good as before (except for a little scent that was barely noticeable). Sapphire made a small nod, acknowledging the fact that Iris was totally clueless about the dangers of the jungles. "Yeah. Just be sure to not fall off, alright?", was the only condition Sapphire said for Iris's stay. Little did Sapphire know that Iris had the same intentions as her, living within the jungle as one with nature. Iris let off a small smile, her amber eyes sparkling with joy, "Thanks so much!" Sapphire let off a small chuckle, "No prob." Iris was so excited to stay with the superior survivalist, perhaps even learn some tips from the pro. She silently picked up Kibago, making sure to not wake him up. She took a few slow steps, before placing it by the Torchic. She made a light giggle at how adorable they looked asleep. Iris quickly tiptoed her way across the branch, sitting down against the tree next to Sapphire. She couldn't contain herself, she needed to ask Sapphire about anything hat might help. "So Sapphire...", she started, but was stopped by a glare from the deep-blue eyes. "I understand you are eager to learn, but please save it for tomorrow," Sapphire said, taking a look at the dark skies above. The moon pierced the sky, the moonlight shining in between the leaves. Iris nodded, understanding how much Sapphire took for the day. It must be new to her, having a younger person come into her life so suddenly. Silently, she placed her head on the branch, taking in deep breaths as she relaxed her body. "Let me tell you this," Sapphire said to Iris in a stern tone. Iris's hearing intensified, waiting for what her newest friend had to say. "This jungle is full of dangerous things. Don't take it for granted," Sapphire told her in a serious tone, not wanting Iris to end up as dinner. Iris acknowledged how serious he jungle really was, so she slowly nodded. "Good, now get some rest," Sapphire said, ending the sentence with silence. Iris waited for a sign to indicate that she was asleep. She heard a snore, and that was all she needed. Iris closed her eyes, weary at what had happened earlier. She quickly fell asleep, ready to learn more the next Morning.

So Iris and Sapphire became great friends at a moment's notice. The next morning awaited them with new adventures, and training for the inexperienced Iris. Through Sapphire, she will learn how to survive in this treacherous enviornment, along with how to treat every pokemon with dignity and respect.

Well...I would provide a pic of Iris in Sapphire's jungle clothing. But, the owner of the pic left dA because her account was hacked into. DX If you have no idea what Sapphire's jungle outfit looks like, simply search it up.

Anyways, after I saw that pic, I was completely over this. I actually had this idea stuck in my head for several months after I found out Iris loved swinging on vines. But that pic....It jumpstarted my creative juices. :D

This is Chapter 0 of The Adventures of Sapphire and Iris. More will come, trust me. ;) I will publish a chapter every week or two, depending on what the plot will be. So until then, cya!

:iconnosebleedplz: The owner of that Iris pic is back, having to go through some serious stuff. >.< Anyways, I really hope you enjoy it! [link]

Pokemon belongs to Nintendo/Gamefreak! I do not own them!

I found this story rather interesting. I liked the climax: 2 characters alike in the same place. Sapphire's my favorite character, and I don't mind Iris. (Also, May sucks ass). I like how you showed both of their personalities and stuff. The story is great, creative, and kept my attention all the way through. The story is pretty good, despite it being made a long time ago. I like both of the chapters you made. Keep up the good work.
